After graduating with the bachelor of music in "Music research and media practice" I maximized my professional audio skills at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg by studying
Film-Sounddesign where I learned to master all aspects of sound post-production: Dialogue editing, sound design, foley recording / editing and re-recording mixing. Next to douzens of film projects and numerous games of most diverse kinds I made there my specialty to create a link between film and game audio, working on several interactive projects from simple 2D-games to complex VR-experiences.

As a studied musician and multi-instrumentalist I play a bunch of small and big Instruments from a little flute over a medium violin to a large organ. Not only for musical purpose they are also useful for some experimental sounds and interdisciplinary creations which break the borders between music and sounddesign.
My work is not limited to my studio. I'm also a field recordist who collects every useful piece of sound in the world, whether it is on vacation in Iceland, a visit in a near city or just on a long walk on a cold, snowy day. For this I use several types of recording equipment like a simple stereo setup, my Sennheiser shotgun mic, 360° ambient -or contact microphones.

What I find will be used and transformed. Whether it be sound samples of my own instruments or field recordings from different places. I use a lot of time to create new otherwordly sounds with granular synthesis, spectral transformation, pitch variation, slicing it into pieces or simply stretching it. With that I am able to create the strangest sounddesign from eerie ambient effects over low end impacts to ...well....some kind of music, let's call it that.
