Huldufólk is a story about a Family moving to Iceland. While the older daughter Stella has problems to assimilate until she mets the charimastic Nói, the inquisitive younger daughter Lara finds something that other people almost has forgotten, elves. With Runa, she dives into the hidden world of the Huldufólk and right between the front lines of humans and elves. A construction company wants to build a large harbour and threatens the livelihood of the elves. While the other elves prepare for battle, Lara and Runa consider how to solve this problem in peace.
