In the year 2022 all eyes were fixed on the last few houses which remained of Lützerath. In a time when the mining of brown coal was decided and climate change is clearly visible the excavators came to clear the way for the open-pit mining. But the resistance were already there, what followed was a large eviction operation with pictures from piece to violence. This documentary wants to show how this place works, how the people lives there and how the resistance is organized. And especially how people, so different, fight for the same idea.
